ok - it appears that someones beens posting to LAU without really
checking out the problem :-\

infact, i also get those alsaplayer errors when i start alsaplayer as a
normal user, and not as a jack client. so maybe this is absolutely
nothing to do with rtc. apologies for wasting everyones bandwidth.

still, does anyone know what this error means? ( ps - using
alsaplayer-0.99.70)
