Hello ppl ;)
Any suggestions or good/bad experiences with NR on linux? I just converted some important meterial I have on cassette and would like to remove some tape hiss. I have already tried Audacity's built in noise reduction effect. It is very easy to use, but the resulting file has some noticeable sonic type noise (sort of a low level whistling) during the quite passages. This occurs even when I apply a small level of NR.
Can anyone suggest a decent way app or method to remove tape hiss?
