Oh, that's nothing! This feature has been in ecasound's CVS-tree for like,
uhm, two and a half minutes! :D

Hehee, same here, couldn't resist the temptation. ;)

Anyways, best way to test the ecasound implementation of defaults support
is to also grab ecamegapedal from the CVS and test with that. Seems to
work quite well with the swh-0.2.8 plugin set. And yup, playing with the
plugins is now much more fun with the sane default values available.
