A new version of the Planet CCRMA at Home site is now online
at:
  http://www-ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/

Planet CCRMA at Home is a software package collection for
RedHat Linux 7.2 or 7.3 that makes most of the CCRMA sound and
music Linux environment easily installable at home. It
optimizes an existing RedHat install for audio work, and
includes a low latency preemptible kernel, ALSA audio drivers
and recent versions of selected linux audio, multimedia and
midi applications.

This new version is easy to install and mantain. All packages
are now managed by apt (Advanced Package Tool) for rpm, a set
of tools that automatically keep track of package
dependencies, installed packages and packages available in the
CCRMA repository. The Planet CCRMA "apt" repository includes
the software package collection, all of RedHat 7.2 and 7.3 and
all RedHat updates.

If you use Planet CCRMA at Home please subscribe to its mailing
list at:

  http://ccrma-mail.stanford.edu/mailman/listinfo/planetccrma

I'll announce new packages and updates there... there's a lot
to add!

Enjoy!
