Indeed there are!

apt-get the following:
alsa-headers
alsa-source
alsa-utils
alsaconf
alsalib
alsa-dev
esound-alsa
libarts-alsa
libkmid-alsa
Go to /usr/src and untar alsa-driver.tar.gz. It will put its stuff in
/usr/src/modules/alsa-driver. Follow the directions to build it
against your kernel and install it.
Some of the packages might not be required, since they may contain
files installed from building alsa-source. If you're feeling
ambitious, it's pretty easy to wrap the whole thing up in a .deb. Go
here [http://www.debian.org/doc/maint-guide/] if you've never done
that before.
If anyone's using the same kernel build as you, drop the .deb on the
web somewere and create a Packages.gz in the same directory. Then, you
can put it in apt's sources.list. Share and enjoy.
