Just because they got there first does not mean they originated the
concept. JACK is simply a way a sharing data between applications in
realtime at low latency. That should be a prerequisite for any serious
digital musician.

Saying JACK is a clone of Rewire is like saying desktop Linux is a clone
of windohs or mac.

It's buying into the hype.
