  Mmmmhh, I get the same error with wget... md5 is
  7f0b713f64ddd8c8fccfcfe9db74af6c if I stop it before he tries to
  reconnect. In effect the size is 4244967.
  Probably is a web.archive.org problem; the first time I downloaded
  with mozilla so I didn't see errors...
  but downloading again with mozilla gives me the same md5 so I suppose
  this is the correct one. It works with timidity...
  When I get home I try to find the cdrom copy (not a simple task ;-)).
