Just had to reply to this. Where I work we use NVIDIA graphics cards
exclusively. Why - because they are the only graphics card manufacturer
with an accelerated 3D driver for Linux. Yes, it's closed but we have
no choice since we are working with software that requires accelerated
3D drivers (IVS' Fledermaus). Graphics card manufacturing is a very
competitive industry so I can understand their position on this. OTOH,
I agree completely about the motherboard.
