Daniel,
The first time I ran multiple tracks right out of Ardour into JAMIN Ron
P. thought I had lost my mind. Since I'm not a mastering engineer I
thought this might be an interesting thing to do. Once Ron got over
yelling "heretic" and "blasphemer" he kind of liked the idea ;-)
Actually, it's just a nice way to preview the mastering session. That
way if you discover that there is something that you really can't deal
with or don't like you can tweak the mix and the mastering parameters at
the same time. It's really very handy. After I have previewed the
track I'll go back and dump a stereo mix and then master that.
