That's the hint. Try removing the jack temporary files
from the filesystem /tmp/jack

Perhaps you've got OSS or artsd or something else
using the device--just guessing.

This can be done by enabling capabilities in your
kernel. I believe simple instructions are available in
the jackd faq on the website. The instructions are
there somewhere. The capabilities will enable normal
users to run jackd with -R realtime priority. jackd is
designed for pro audio so it's very strict about
having clients perform on time and if they don't
they're kicked.
