i have taken the liberty to forward this posting to the linux audio
developers list, together with an archive link to the original thread.
i'd like to suggest to continue the technical part of the discussion there.

well, it conserves bandwidth and leaves people the choice, so it must be
Good(tm).

as i said before, wrap your command line thingy up in ladspa and the gui
issue at least for the convolver will be taken care of :)
that does not include the response function generator of course, but i
think people who can and want to deal with such arcane tools are in a
CLI frame of mind anyway ;)
