 I don't know... I think Mandrake's pretty particular. You can't escape all of
the Mandrake rpms on the net though... I doubt you'd have a problem.

 I'm sure there must be something else {aside from the Mandrake package thing.}

 I've only accepted rpms as a valid package format for the last couple of years
though... I'm not experienced enough with them to know which package managers
offer just what features.

 I suppose you could just use rpm, rpm-ftp, etc... {Seeing as they have no
dselect.}
