And 5 years ago you'd tell me that linux audio, alsa(a well designed
driver infrastructure that is incorporated in the linux kernel), jack(a
server that is able interconnect your favorite audio applications,
letting audio flow from one app to the other at low latencies), ardour(a
non-linear non-destructive audio editor that offers unlimited number of
audio tracks, is able to handle plugins with latency compensation and
offers automation including plugin parameter autiomation),
linuxsampler(a sampler that is able to handle 100+ voices of >1Gb
samples, although still in very alpha development phase), ... is truism.
And 15 years ago you would tell me that something like linux is truism.

C'mon guys, give me a break ;)
