PAD has AES/EBU as XLR, otherwise they are the same. What do you mean by "x
2"? For me, it's 1024 x 8 or 256 x 32 as in frames x periods.

Btw, I got the latency down to 85.3 ms by increasing the sample rate to 96
kHz. Still no luck with lowering periods.
