I think you're confusing form and style with content and intent. ZynAddSubFX
would be inappropriate in a Black Metal song, because it's just too sweet and
harmonic. However, if you take a walk though the instrument presets you will
realise that the author is no stranger to the weird and wonderful. There are
some great sounds there and plenty of room to make more. Yes, I find the
religious statements in the documentation a bit cheesy, but having played
with ZynAddSubFX and having an understanding of the relationship between
music, geometry and spirituality, I bow to NOP's understanding of the
science. I think anyone would be hard pressed to make anything other than
healing music with this software.

Let's face it, if you really want to stroke Satan's furry hoof you should be
using Microsoft products. !;P

I'm happy to discuss issues of spirituality __off-list__. :)
