No, your position isn't extreme. It is simply because you do not pull your
punches or pad out your answers with social fluff that your answers come
across as a bit harsh sometimes. It may not be immediately obvious to
everyone that you keep answering questions because you deeply care about the
Linux Audio community. In the same way, it may not be obvious that the
occasional digs you may receive from some of the more er, light-hearted
members of this community are slightly twisted acknowledgements of the value
of your contributions. Dealing with piss-taking creative lunatics is all part
of the territory. ;)
