Same thing here with "snd-rme9652" loaded. Regarding hdsp stuff, it is
needed to load snd-hdsp too (or "hdspmixer" and "hdsonf" refused to
run).

:-(

What is your kernel version? Debina or vanilla?

Could you send me a screenshot (a part from the list) of your
"hdspmixer", "hdspconf", jack settings, "lsmod" output, "alsactl store
-f myconfig.conf", and ".asoundrc"? Hum... A lot of work for you I
guess :-(

I wish I could :-)

Perhaps a problem of RME firmware version ("lspci -v" give me "rev98")
that could not be understound by current alsa drivers?

-----
$ lspci -v
04:00.0 Multimedia audio controller: Xilinx Corporation RME Hammerfall
DSP (rev 98)
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 255, IRQ 16
        Memory at dcdd0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K]
-----

Isn't the latency too hight? When I try to run "ZynAddSubFX" or
"Hydrogen" I have a lot of xruns (and always only a bad mono sound on
the "playback_9" jack port).

Thanks for your help. I am a bit disappointed.

Bye
