I was thinking of using some kind of meta text strings in my midi file.
Just like a note on/off event with a location. So, for example, at
offset xxx I'd have "display charlie.jpg" or something like that. My off
the wall thought was that I'd just have some text events in a specific
track and then send the track to the display program.
