 Quite easy:

1.) connect the line-out of your module to the line-in of your soundcard
2.) select the soundcard-inputs as inputs for a track in Ardour
3.) hit record and play in Ardour and play as thou wishest

Or do you want to use the external AS the soundcard? What external
module is it?
