It was not my intention to give you that impression. It's just that
everybody curses pulseaudio like it should never have existed. I
believe this is wrong, because pulseaudio does solve real problems.

No, I don't disagree with you that your distro is obviously not
setting this up right for you. I've never agreed with any distro on
much. They are always strong in some places and severely lacking in
others. That's why I run my own distro.
