drc was mentioned on 64studio mailing list a while ago.

From its description:

"DRC generates digital room correction FIR filters to be
used within HiFi systems in conjunction with real time
convolution engines like BruteFIR."

Alas, no first hand experience from me. I have neither
studied nor used it, so I can just refer to its extensive
documentation.
