jorn is right on the money - this is the way things should be.
I picked up a copy of this last night. as a non-audio engineer who
knows what sound I want but don't know exactly how to get it, it
should be an interesting test of this software. my first task is to
take some of my vocal performances and see if I can smooth them
out...if the software can make an amateur singer sound better, it's a
keeper.
I'll report back soon.
