Many thanks for the replies, I'm actually quite inclined to go for the
Indamixx Pro 12.1 laptop, for the sheer sake of simplicity, i.e
everything works out of the box.
I had a horrible time configuring my brother's wireless USB device
using ndiswrapper on two occasions. By the end of it, I managed to get
it working out of a pure fluke!
With the Indamixx pro, I'd imagine that the hardware drivers would be
all configured and working properly (with perhaps a bit of fiddling
with connecting to the wireless network at home here...), so I could
get some of the software update to date (linuxsampler cvs, rosegarden
and bristol would be my top three 'to-dos', for better or worse. :P )
