-r48000 -p256 = 10.7 ms and it still cause many audible xruns,
anyway, it's usable for home recording, but increasing the latency I
don't get rid of the audible xruns, decreasing the latency makes the
card completely unusable. I'm talking about audio production, playing a
video there aren't audible drop outs.

On the same machine, the same Linux, I can use an Envy24 card with
-r48000 -p256 = 10.7 ms without getting xruns, when doing audio
productions.

For testing purpose I installed Windows, the card doesn't cause issues
there. The xruns and that only 2 of 8 ADAT channels are
available, happens only on Linux.
