My mistake, I saw the 1010 and just figured that was what you are using
for MIDI. However, the same applies to a USB midi. Your korg should also
show up in the MIDI panel. If you are seeing only Ardour in your MIDI
panel of the qjackctl connections window, You probably need to run
a2jmidid. The command to use is:
a2j_control ehw start
This should be run after jack is already running. It can be added to
qjackctl's Setup->Options page in the "Execute script after Startup:".

It will stop all on it's own when jack goes away.

a2jmidid will connect ALSA to MIDI. The MIDI tab in qjackctl is jack MIDI
and the ALSA tab is alsa midi.
