Are you asking how much space between the 1st and the 2nd violins is?
Take a look at Fotos ;). All you need is the seating plan (European,
American, Martian ...) and a calculator. Within a group, they are
sitting side by side, with enough space to avoid that the bow of one
musician could upset another musician, but not enough space to fit a
small car. I doubt that a few meters are important for a simulated room
and the acoustic of a real room anyway depends much to the type of
architecture.
