I second this to the max, but Jostein seemed interesting in a tool for
composing songs, and not just record them, if I'm not mistaken.
Personally, my ideal workflow would be a block-based MIDI sequencer
(with audio capabilities to record a witness voice (at least that's the
french term for it, I guess you can say "cue voice"?) but that can be
handled externally) then export the midifile(s) and the cue voice track
into Qtractor to start the full recording session.

BTW I'm looking forward to OpenAV's Lupp2 to do just that.
