I don't know how your opinion about that is but I personally would
recommend to buy a used piece of higher priced equipment. The only
downside of this might be a bit higher power consumption but if you used
to have a CRT it should be an improvement anyways. I got myself a used
Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP for about ~200€ several years ago and I'm still
perfectly happy with it.
