nope. the VP9000 is not usable in real-time AFAIK.

if you understand it, inspect can do at least as good a job as at
least one of VP9000 modes. its free, but its fairly typical "this was
part of my phd thesis" software: it works well, but the overall
packaging of the system and its usability in other contexts is not so
great. it would be a really wonderful thing if someone took inspect
and packaged it up so that it could be used easily. right now, it
requires (unnecessarily, IMHO) a kernel module plus a Scheme
interpreter wrapped around it. the kernel module can be handled (i
think) by using low latency techniques in user-space.
