This catches up the tarball releases with CVS. The News page on the
Ardour website describes the various changes since 0.99.5 (the last
tarball release), but the summary looks like:
* direct insert of external sound files in any format
handled by libsndfile. edit them as if they were
native ardour data (currently mono or left channel
only)
* fine-grained per-track export (which tracks, and which
channel for which track); export formats include any
handled by libsndfile
* full dynamically-learned MIDI control of all plugin control ports
* "themed" graphics for plugin GUI's
* support for the Delta Midiman series and other
ice1712-chipset audio interfaces
