hello lad folk, hello andrew !

how is the ll-patch going ?
there was not much talk about it recently, and i'd hate to see it
die again due to lack of interest, especially after the riot we
caused on lkml :)
probably it could use some more testing and feedback, right, andrew
?

i tried to check it out, but since i have reiserfs, there are
conflicting patches and i seem to be out of luck. has anyone else
tried ? it seems with andrew's approach we're on the right track and
might make it into the standard kernel.

if some of you are trying the patch, please let the list know and
share clues :) !
if not, go grab the patch today and send results to andrew.

andrew, do you have a homepage where i can always find the current
patch ?
right now, i'm keeping a local copy at the LAD site, but that may
well be outdated, since i don't read lkml. is a patch against test4
available ?

regards,

jörn

btw: there is a summary of the ll-story at
  http://www.linuxdj.com/audio/lad/links.php3#latency .
additions/corrections welcome.
