Totaly. There didn't seem to be much interest from the rest of the list
when I brough it up though. Just lots of discussions about pie in the sky
non callback plugin systems. Great but not a gui for ladspa.

I was thinking of taking a stab at doing it with SDL, but I think your
idea is better. I might do it anyway as an exercise though.

[On OSS's uselesness] agreed, but I actually meant without any audio i/o
at all. I'l take that as a no ;)

I think eca* might be able to do what I want anyway. And at some point I
will hack applyplugin to take notice of audio range hints, which is half
the battle.
