Yes folks, its time to pick up one of the best high end audio cards
for a great price. Used, but by a meticulous owner :)
1 Hammerfall (RME Digi9652)
---------------------------------
- 26 all digital channels (24 ADAT + 2 S/PDIF)
- ADAT Sync
- word clock in and out
- cables, ADAT connector plugs supplied.
Current street price: $499
Asking: $390
1 Hammerfall Light (RME Digi9636)
---------------------------------
- 18 all-digital channels (16 ADAT + 2 S/PDIF)
- ADAT Sync
- cables, ADAT connector plugs supplied.
- upgradeable to a Digi9656 for approx. $120
Current street price: $420
Asking: $325
Fully operational under Linux/ALSA (and reportedly under
Windows/MacOS, but who cares? :) Both cards come with the most recent
upgrade ROMS (Rev G). They are not the Rev 1.5; however, under ALSA,
this is of absolutely no consequence unless you plan to do some
under-the-hood programming using the hardware pointer.
Why am I selling them ? I have 4 Hammerfall cards, and I don't need
them all :)). I did, however, spend the weekend playing with a Roland
HandSonic, and the drool is beginning to spill.
