Hi all,

I've been away from Linux audio development in general and this list in
particular from some time but I would now like to move back into this area.

I'm looking for a Linux DAW style project to join and hopefully contribute
to. My main requirement is that the project be C based as C++ hurts my head
too much. I've had a look a freshmeat.net but really couldn't find anything.

What I'm thinking of is a multi-track recorder type of application with
plugins for effects and synthesis.

My background is in hardware design and low-level software. I used to work for
Fairlight ESP makers of the MFX3 and MFX3+ DAWs. I'm currently working for one
of the big-iron Unix vendors. I am also the author of libsndfile :

Does anybody have anything to recommend?

Thanks,
Erik

PS : I really don't want this to turn into a C vs C++ advocacy thread.
