I think so yes. My old PIII (slot 1) had 512k cache though, and that
was just a consumer one.

I expect so, its NT code, which has been smp capable for a while.
I was thinking fairly long term BTW, 5-10 years. Which I suppose is pretty
irrelevant for the current discussion.
