Subject: [linux-audio-dev] SoundTracker + ALSA seq?

Some development questions:

The community's interest and input for adding alsa sequencer support to
the brilliant application SoundTracker. Has anyone done this?

Can the RME Hammerfall and ALSA be used for multi channel playback, 96khz
24bit support, real time effects and with external midi sync? *phew*

To put it bluntly, that combination would be able to crank out some wicked
tracks. Can I pay money to make this happen? Trade my soul? Any takers?
:P

This really *needs* to happen, I'm a programmer and linux user for years
now however I'm not too familiar with either SoundTracker or the alsa
drivers. I have far too much spare time at university, which is why any
pointers in the right direction would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance for any replies or discussion on this subject.
(ot: If anyone can sell or donate an RME hammerfall card that would be
very much appreciated.)

David Burrows.
