Of course. That's why I wanted some usb card in first place,
my laptops internal soundcard is made for beeping :)
I was looking for 16bit 48kHz card and EMI offered 24bit with
48kHz and with new firmware 96kHz. Signal to noise ratio 99dB,
frequency response from 20Hz to 20kHz +-0.5dB ...
this is good enought for my "porta-studio" :)
