Greets,
Just wanted to point out, for those of you
not on linux-audio-user, there is a discussion
going on over there regarding a new dynamic community-driven
site intended to supercede DLP's excellent software list.
I've volunteered to develop this site, with help
from whoever's willing. Currently we're discussing
the look and feel of the site -
designing the public interface, basically -
so input at this stage is especially important
to the eventual end users (namely, you).
I've put up a progress page at
http://www.slinkp.com/linux/soundapp_site_roughs
...including links to some relevant bits of the archives.
I'd like to keep the discussion on l-a-u because
it seems like the most relevant forum.
This is an idea that's been around for years, but this
time I'm gonna make it happen, dammit.
