I'm happy to include whatever you decide is best into sfront, it
is important to remember that some users, given the choice of
updating their OS to ALSA 0.9 or to not use a tool that only
supports 0.5, will choose to not use the 0.5-only tool, out of
inertia ... on the other hand, I understand how much work it is
support multiple incompatible versions of an API, and if there's
only time to support one version of ALSA, 0.9 is the right version
to keep supporting ...
