I don't have the athlon model, but I got a QuietPC fan
(the radial fin fcpga model)
for my coppermine 866 and it's pretty quiet. Got the 250W power
supply too, it's also not bad. I can still hear fan noise, it's
a bit high for recording vocals in the room, but it's less of
a problem than the drive seek noise, and I can at least monitor
without feeling like the computer's covering up all the low-level
stuff.
