This compiles (almost) cleanly, only with some warning(s) of the
following kind a little here and there:

warning: passing argument 1 of ‘get_unaligned_le16’ discards qualifiers
from pointer target type
include/asm/io_32.h:217: warning: passing argument 1 of ‘__memcpy’
discards qualifiers from pointer target type
...
