I installed cecilia from the binary tar package. I
install csounds from source. My environment variables
are now set and I get no errors when sync to the SFDIR
and other paths now.

The problem I am having now is when I try to do
straight csounds with it. I first open cecilia. I
then click open. Then I choose 101.orc from the
csounds cdrom. I click on play with DAC option.
Nothing happens. I then select Disk then clicked on
the scissors. I then get this:

can't find (null): Bad address

If I click on the speaker I get

No such file or directory

I have recently got it to work. I think there is
probobaly a better way. I click on DISK-> then click
play. I bunch of horrible noise shoots out of
speakers. I can then click on the scissors and the
file that was created is then in the snd window. I
click play. It is indeed the 101.aiff now. Why do I
get this horrible buzzing sound before this though.
am I doing something wrong. This is how the cecilia
documentation explained it. Maybe I overlooked
something. I tried the same thing with a larger file.
I tried it with the Trapped in convert .orc that came
with the csounds cd. It kept saying that trapped.wav
is not in dir SFDIR. I know I have the environment
variables set up correctly.

my preferences are:
csound binary =4.13
soundfile player = aplay
soundfile editor = snd
s converter = sox
text ed = emacs
html viewer = mozilla
midi editor = rosegarden

Thanks for the help
Jeremiah
