Subject: [linux-audio-user] Noise related to video.

I recently installed debian and before that I had Mandrake 8.0

With mandrake I had no noticable noise but using debian my card sounds
like a helicopter. the noise seems to be directly related to anything
moving on my monitor. I have read the audio quality howto and tried the
no-hlt in lilo.conf. That hasn't worked.

My video card is a geforce2 mx 32mb agp and I am using xfree86-4.1.0.
Does anyone have any ideas that I can try to get rid of this noise. I'm
sure it is a settings problem becuase it wasn't there while using
mandrake.

TIA.
