i bought an sm57, and it sounds great along with my eurorack mx 1604a
mixer (as long as you don't turn it all the way up where it picks up the
sound of the computer fans like my friend did and then complained about
noise). i bought those and an m-audio delta audiophile for my home studio
for about $500 total.
