Right. But since GeoMaestro is GPL, any one willing to develop an
equivalent platform will find me ready to port GeoMaestro on it. Needs are:
an interpreted langage, extensive MIDI support, and basic but comprehensive
graphical display. Of course the thing should be multiplatform :)

? nothing needs to be compiled here... I agree that the thingy is far from
easy to set-up, but there's no compilation involved.
I HATE having to compile a soft :)

Yes... my interest is in developping new types of musical tools, so this is
a software for experiments and research. If someone finds the approach
interesting, it could be possible to write from scratch a version dedicated
to musicians would do not like programming. I will not do it myself,
though... but I am willing to help anyone doing so..
