Hi Julien
I know that the harddisk recording software Ardour has a text mode
interface, that was designed to fit the needs of visually impaired
people. I think, that interface was included because someone of the
ardour users needed it. Maybe you could ask on the ardour mailing list
(http://ardour.sf.net) for more information.
