I think you're right. I have two quibbles:
1) As I understand it, certain holdout underground dance music
zealots insist that "electronica" is a fabrication of the media
and has no bearing on "real" underground dance music. I'm not
a member of that camp, I think it's a useful term, but I'm
inclined to be sympathetic.

2) A more serious objection IMO:
I don't think anyone considers hip-hop to be part of electronica, but
the tools used are more or less identical, and for a software site
the tools clearly belong together. Hip-hop is such a major branch of
music today that I don't think it's right to not take this into account.

So I favor "Digital DJ" or something similar. Focusing on tools and
methods, not genres.
