no, i still didn't apply to 2.4.18.
this is because the change of LL patch is minimum and can be disabled
safely by sysctl.

after appling the patch, you need to build only the kernel and fs
modules, such as reiserfs, ext3 and its related modules. the other
modules are not changed by LL patch.

if you configure LL patch with sysctl enabled, then you can toggle the
extended LL feature by sysctl. PE patch doesn't have this good feature.

RTC patch is not necessary unless you build alsa driver's rtctimer
module.

if you would like to use PE (and lock-break together, i recommend)
patches, try the vanilla kernel.
i'll try to apply them to suse kernel later, though.
