I found a terrible memory leak in the musical
score editor NotEdit.

All NoteEdit users who had problems with memory
(even Linux crashes because of swap overflow)
should try NoteEdit-2.0.7:

http://rnvs.informatik.tu-chemnitz.de/~jan/noteedit/noteedit.html

All those who are not familar with NoteEdit: It
is a graphical musical score editor with a lot
of features. Among them:

  - import/export midi
  - export LilyPond, MusiXTeX, PMX
  - read/record from MIDI keyboard
  - replay whereby highting the playe notes
  - transpose
  - ...
