It is pretty nice software, don't get me wrong, but it's not perfect,
and it's very expensive. It's MIDI import screws stuff up a lot, and
I've had problems writing drum tracks. There was this one MIDI version
of a Dream Theater song I was using so I could learn the tune for a band
I was in, and Finale didn't play it back correctly (there were some
wierd triplets). The exact same MIDI file imported into Rosegarden 4
played back with the correct rhythm.
